Duos

                           DUOS

Violin and Viola

#208. W. A. Mozart, Twelve Duets, K. 487 (originally for two bassett horns). Despite the relatively late Köchel number, these are simple miniatures which probably took Wolfgang less time to compose than they take to play. Yet they’re unmistakably Mozartean, charming and fun. $10

For Two Violas, consider the Twelve Duos above (Mozart, K. 487). These work equally well for two violas, provided one of the violists is comfortable in treble clef up to the Bb an octave above the open A.

Violin and Cello

#201. “Anna Magdalena” Album: a baker’s dozen little pieces by J.S.Bach $8.00

Viola and Cello

#202. “Anna Magdalena” Album: a baker’s dozen little pieces by J.S.Bach $8.00 (available, on request, with treble-clef-free viola part)

#203. Benedetto Marcello, Sonata, G Major [Andante, Allegro, Grave, Allegro] $8.00

#204. Benedetto Marcello, Sonata, G Minor [Adagio, Allegro, Largo, Allegro] $8.00

#205. W.A. Mozart, Allegro in C and Allegro in Bb $4.00

Special: All four titles #202-205, $25.00

Viola and Piano

#206. J.S.Bach, Bist Du Bei Mir (a meditative chorale, excellent at weddings) $4.00

Violin and Piano

#207. Edward MacDowell, To A Wild Rose. Originally a brief piano piece, this well-loved tune is here expanded by the addition of a contrasting middle section (the same material differently arranged) and a Da Capo. $7.00
